Start Your Career
Getting your first job can be difficult when employers want experience, but in order to gain that experience, you need your first job. This disparity is where we help.
We bridge the gap between your education and professional career by helping you gain the experience and training within the Healthcare IT space that you need.
We are here to help you start your career in healthcare IT with paid training.
What is Last Mile Training?
Last mile training is a unique approach compared to many colleges, universities, boot camps, or learning platforms. Traditionally, you pay to learn skills with no guarantee of a job at the end. Accepted applicants will be hired by Optimum and paid from the start of the 12-week training program. After completing training, trainees will join Optimum project teams serving hospital systems around the U.S.

One of the major causes of the skills gap in healthcare IT is that healthcare organizations are unwilling to take a risk on unproven talent. The Optimum apprenticeship program will allow our clients to evaluate the performance of apprentices on projects before deciding if they wish to hire them. We expect this program to make a major contribution to closing America’s skills gap in healthcare technology.

Learn about our
IT Effectiveness Assessment
A rapid IT Effectiveness Assessment is one of the many services in our Advisory practice. This assessment leverages our deep healthcare experience working in and with organizations to help them become more efficient and effective. Quite simply, our goal is to enable your users to use technology to work smarter and not harder. The IT Effectiveness Assessment is a four-week engagement that will identify the areas of opportunity to improve outcomes. By assessing where misalignment occurs between technology and process, our experts will provide actionable recommendations to get back on track. This flexible assessment can scale up or down to address parallel workstreams as needed to meet the four-week schedule.
